On Friday night, I couldn’t get excited about going on staycation because I was too tired and over everything. Now that it’s Sunday afternoon and I know we don’t have to go to work tomorrow or for another two weeks I’m feeling a bit better. This afternoon, we almost finished paving our yard – I’d love to tell you all about the knuckle-biting drive from Bunnings with our ute-load of pavers, but I’m worried it might’ve been illegal, so I’m holding back. For the rest of our holiday we’ll be doing more paving, building up our dining-room floor and laying and painting floor-boards, replacing my beans and snow-peas with something more practical and attractive (I don’t know what that is yet, but I’ve got nearly two weeks to work it out), going to see the last Harry Potter movie, and surfing!
I’m not sure if I’ll be posting more or less over the next two weeks. It’ll depend. But, if I disappear more than usual, that’s why. Have fun at work tomorrow!
