Well if I had been on my own in the office the next day I may have kissed it, but...
What were you doing with your next-door neighbour's prized hocky stick? Prized hockey stick?! And remind me to tell you about the time I walked around a small island looking for a pair of sneakers with my Dad! hehehe

Oh what a stomach dropping story. Phew! Glad it turned out all right. You can forgive yourself for any absent mindedness..as long as you find what you're looking for. I always kiss things when I find them. Unfortunatley - your story is quite familiar to me. When I was a kid in Sydney I used to spend a fair bit of time (with and without my mother) at bus depots and train lost property looking for lost things which included amongst my school travel pass (more than once - it made my mother very cross); my school hat; my school project due that morning; my next-door neighbour's prized hockey stick....and I could go on....but won't.
Oh yeah - Congratulations!! :-)
